IMMORTAL ACTIVITY PRESIDENCY OUR PLANS CURRENT FRIENDS
IMMORTAL
Founded on 14th December 1992
We have created a memory park
next to the music school to serve as a pilgrim place for all who want to
bow before the immortals of music. The first relief portrays Freddie Mercury
which was unveiled by the cultural attaché of the British Embassy Michael Barnard
on 1st October 1993. Since then John Lennon’s, Jim Morrison’s
and Curt Kobain’s relieves have been finished, which have been made by Oskar Košecký.
In 2000 we erected the life-size statue of king St. István. Since then
every 20th August (trying to make
tradition) we celebrate: the remembering in front of the statue, and organizing
a street dance with fireworks.
We provide financial aid to anti AIDS and drug
publications, moreover we help financially and provide concert opportunities to
the beginner local and regional bands.
